At The Montefiore Hospital, patients may be referred by local obstetric, gynaecological, urogynae and urology consultants and GP’s, or they may be self-referring.
We offer assessment and treatment for a wide range of women’s and men’s pelvic health conditions, often in liaison with the referring specialists when this is appropriate.
Our service is within a modern spacious private hospital setting, in a comfortable, relaxed and discrete environment. Our initial assessment allows time to take a detailed history and provides patients with the opportunity to talk through issues in detail.
Assessment, examination, treatment and goal setting is very much patient-centred and is tailored to the needs and wishes of the individual, as well as being evidence-based.

We welcome referrals from insured and self-funding patients and can provide invoice receipts for those who can claim costs back from insurers.
These can be made if insured by the following insurers:
Axa PPP, Bupa, Aviva, Vitality Health, WPA.
The therapist invoices the insurer directly to cover your fees.
Please note that any excess must be paid to the therapist at the start of the treatment.
For direct billing, an authorisation code must be provided at the time of booking and at the first appointment. Some insurers will request a referral from a GP – please check.
Some insurers (eg Cigna) may approve your treatment cover and will reimburse you the costs when you provide them with invoice receipts for your physiotherapy – check with your insurer prior to booking your appointment.
If you are self-funding, you pay the physiotherapist at the appointment. Card payments or cash are accepted.
